I am not her original owner, but she has been in my collection for approximately 8 years. She is in excellent condition and probably was not played with a great deal.  I have not displayed her - she has been lovingly stored in my smoke free home - she is as I purchased her. I do not have her stand, box or shoes. She comes only with her earrings and swimsuit. I am not that knowledgeable, but will describe to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions that are important to you before bidding. I have tried to photograph her with and without flash. Hopefully you can see how beautiful she is despite my poor photography skills. She has the most beautiful long, hair of any Barbie I have seen. She has lots of beautiful bangs. The original rubber band at the bottom is gone. I do not know if the top rubber band is original - it looks as though it needs to be replaced - it is very deteriorated, so I am guessing it is original. She has no hair cuts or trims and no missing plugs. Her hair is quite soft. Her face paint is very vivid. Only flaw I see with a strong magnifying glass is the eyeliner on top of one eye is slightly missing. She has beautiful arched eyebrows and red lips. Her earrings are silver - I think original earrings were gold in color, so they may have been replaced at one time, I'm not sure. At the request of an Ebay member, I have tested her eyeballs, eyelids, eyebrows and lips individually with a q-tip soaked in alcohol and NO paint comes off.  I do not know how accurate this, but I tried it twice with the same result. Her left cheek is marked 7. The right side is marked Barbie TM, Pats Pend, MCMLVIII, By Mattel Inc. The bottom of her right foot is marked JAPAN . All of her joints are tight. She has a solid, heavy body which has turned VERY white.  Pictures don't seem to really reflect, but she is extremely white, however, fading is very even with no clothing stains. She smells of crayons. as does her swimsuit which was on her when I purchased her. Feet have no staining. Her toenail polish is intact. Fingernail polish appeared to be all intact, but with closer look with magnifying glass her left hand does have a few chips in polish. She has no chew marks to hands, feet, etc. HER FLAWS: She has 4 pinhole size holes at her neck. Only 1 is visible to the eye, which I have tried to photograph. Looking with high magnification, I do see 3 others, but they are extremely small. I have never removed her head and would never attempt to do so with any of my Barbies, especially one of her age. Unless you are prone to removing and replacing her head, I don't think it is an issue. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. I accept Paypal only.
