I have made Angelo very newborn with the colouring of a baby just a day or so old. He has stork bites and the slight blotchiness of a newborn. His detailing is perfect and Angelo will steal your heart! He can wear newborn sized clothing perfectly. I have weighted his head quite heavily as I do all my newborns so that he feels JUST like a newborn baby and his sweet head will drop realistically into your shoulder. To show my babies true colouring all photos are taken in natural daylight. However like most reborners with this dull weather, it was not ideal and I apologise for some slightly darker or not so clear photos! Angelo has a beautiful soft doe suede body that really is gorgeously cuddly. His head is a little 'floppy' like a real sleeping baby and will need gentle support. To comply with export regulations there is no sand in him at all. He feels incredibly real and sooo cuddly in your arms. Angelo can wear newborn sized clothing perfectly. I have worked very hard to establish the most realistic and natural looking skin tone possible in the creation of my babies. I have studied many photographs of babies of different ages to try and replicate the colouring as accurately as I can. Angelo's colouring has been carefully replicated from close observation of a baby just a couple of days old. He has the uneven skin tones and slight blotching of a very young baby. There is tremendous depth to his beautiful skin that appears as glowing and translucent as a real baby. He has delicate veining and capillaries, a few milia. dry patches and some gentle storkbites. I have not overdone this and his colouring is very much like my own children in the first days of life. I am extremely proud of my colouring and the effect created to make my babies look as realistic as I possibly can. My babies 'glow' with life and realism. Click on picture to enlarge Angelo's sweet mouth is amazingly soft and realistic. I have given him just enough touches of moisture on his lips for utimate realism without making him too glossy. His lips look petal soft and delicate.... This hair has been carefully sealed from inside in such a way that his hair can be washed gently every now and then. The hair is carefully directionally rooted with a natural 'swirled' crown. His hair behaves beautifully with a soft brush but can be dampened and flicked into waves. I have shown photos of his hair dampened and dry and just brushed to give a good idea of how his hair behaves. He has very faint 'half moons' on his nail beds. I have carefully hand rooted very fine wispy newborn eyelashes which have been sealed from inside. This lovely baby has touches of moisture in just the right places to look just like a real baby. Angelo also has a magnetic pacifier.
