Description
Presenting a Rare Steiff "Teddy Clown" Teddy Bear c. 1926-30. Vintage Steiff Bear with a short production run, this bear stands about 9.5" tall (hat adds another 2".) All Original Condition with FF BUTTON. Firmly jointed body with Tan mohair. Original Paw and Feet Pads with original claws. A little mohair loss at the base of his back and on his muzzle. Sweet face with brown glass eyes and black-flossed-nose and stitched mouth. Original clown "cone" hat with two scarlet pom-poms and matching creme and scarlet ruff--there was a question if this ruff is original, but he was sold to me by the original owner who had received it as a child.
